As for my experience though, with my attempts of time trials in the main campaign mode “City Rumble” often finishing with just tenths of seconds to spare, I loved perfecting the tracks. Surprisingly, given the family appeal of Unleashed, the difficulty – even at easy – may be off-putting for younger children and some further assists would be welcome for those that require them. Once I’d understood the responsive handling and friction of the cars, I moved up to Medium difficulty and welcomed the challenge. Leaving the simulation genre of previous titles, the arcade nature of Unleashed means that drifting is important and nitro boosts are the key to victory. When I first started the game on the default medium difficulty, I quickly had to move down to easy in order to get to grips with the general handling. In Hot Wheels: Unleashed, Milestone continues its standard of a challenging but fair approach to difficulty. Online multiplayer on console requires Xbox subscription (sold separately). With precise controls, my past experience with Milestone games required pinpoint control and handling to succeed. You can pre-purchase it for PC through Steam or the Epic Games Store. Hot Wheels Unleash releases globally on September 30. You can check out all 66 vehicles available at launch on the Hot Wheels Unleashedwebsite. from Knight Rider, and Snoopy from Peanuts. Other vehicles that will be available in Hot Wheels Unleashed when it launches include the DeLorean from Back to the Future, K.I.T.T. The second and third passes will have the same amount of content, but one less vehicle. It will reward players with ten vehicles, a Batman-themed DLC expansion, three themed customization packs, and three track builder modules.
The first pass will be available from day one.
You will also be able to get vehicles from premium car manufacturers like Aston Martin, BMW, and McLaren. We’ve already seen the TMNT Party Wagon, which will be available on launch day. However, it also plans to release content from Barbie, DC, Masters of the Universe, Street Fighter, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Hot Wheels Unleashed will obviously release a ton of vehicles from the Hot Wheels range. These are limited-time challenges that contain new vehicles, customization items, and special rewards.
On top of the passes, players will also be able to join Racing Seasons.
The passes will include vehicles, track builder modules, customization items, and themed expansion sets with new environments. So, you won’t need to open your wallet to get new toys.

The first collection of DLC will be unlocked through three Hot Wheels Unleashed passes that will have free and premium options. They also unveiled a ton of awesome partnerships that will see pop culture invading the Hot Wheels Unleashed tracks. The toy manufacturer and developer revealed today that content for Hot Wheels Unleashed will be unlocked through DLC passes. Mattel and Milestone’s arcade racing game, Hot Wheels Unleashed, hasn’t even launched yet and it already has a robust ongoing content plan.
